Field notes from Ramkumar’s small industrial rental case

This note contains excerpts from the interview with the landlord, Ramkumar (name changed) and his wife. In this case, the property is owned by a religious Trust which has been leased to the Ramkumar’s family. The family was previously involved in agriculture and livestock rearing and after moving to this property became involved in several businesses such as water treatment (packaged drinking water) and headstone (granite/marble) suppliers.
