PP's concerns for safety

PP was a widow with four young children when she moved to SG in 2006. First building a kuccha structure, and then one with brick and chaddar, she cites the safety of her children as a key motivation to make her house pucca. She channelised support from her family and financial investments to do so. Now in a single storeyed two-room structure, PP has opted to invest in movable assets. She waits for the sewer line to come to SG, and has chose not to built a septic tank which would have enabled her to have a functioning toilet at home.
